OneGoal BioPoem in Google Classroom

OneGoal BioPoem

#1 Think-Pair-Share: Setting and tracking goals is an essential part of your success as high school students. Think about your experience in high school so far, what are some goals that you have set for yourself and where are you in achieving those goals. Now turn to your partner and share your thinking:
What is one goal that you have set for yourself while in high school?
Did you achieve your goal, if so, what steps did you take to achieve the goal?
If you are still working toward the goal, what steps do you need to take to achieve your goal?
#2 Think-Pair-Share: OneGoal is a program designed to help Fellows think about their postsecondary aspirations and work with them to meet the goals they set for themselves. Think about your answers to the following questions then turn to your partner and share your thoughts:
What is your current postsecondary goal (i.e. college, career, etc.)?
How can OneGoal help you to reach your postsecondary goal?
What is one academic goal that you have set for yourself this school year (i.e. GPA, SAT, etc.)?
How can OneGoal help you to achieve your academic goals?
#3 Think-Pair-Share: As a OneGoal Fellow, you will oftentimes need to lean on your Program Director (PD) or cohort members for support in working toward your goals. Think about a time when you had to lean on someone else for support. Turn to your partner and share your thoughts:
Who was that person?
Did you feel comfortable asking for help?
What type of support would you need from your OneGoal cohort in order to lean into them for support?
Now that you have discussed your goals with your partner, create a OneGoal BioPoem!
